Effective January 1, 2019, the City of Saskatoon will be adopting and enforcing the requirements of the National Energy Code for Buildings (NECB). This will be the first time an authority will implement the NECB in Saskatchewan.
To help code users understand the code provisions, the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies (Saskatchewan), in collaboration with the National Research Council of Canada (NRC), is offering a presentation on the National Energy Code for Buildings (NECB).
The presentations are designed to help code users familiarize themselves with code features and technical updates. The topics include the following:

- Part 4 – Lighting
- Part 5 – HVAC
- Part 6 – Service Water Heating
- Part 7 – Electrical
- Part 8 – Performance Path
- NECB – Overview of recent changes
